April Update

Last month, we shared the joyful news that after a year of searching and praying, we found a physical home for Ruth’s House. We can’t wait to transform this property into a nurturing home for mothers and children, but first, we need your help: To purchase the property, we need to raise $500,000. This investment will mean a safe, loving place for young single moms in our community to find rest, encouragement, and support.

As we approach Mother’s Day, we’d love for you to join us in honoring the inspiring mothers in your life. From now through Mother’s Day, we invite you to make a gift to Ruth’s House in honor of a mother you love. It’s a gift that gives back, celebrates an incredible mom, and opens doors for even more mothers in our community.

Thank you for your support on this journey! We couldn’t have made it this far without you, and we’re eager for what’s ahead. Please take a moment to reflect with us on what we’ve been celebrating and planning this April. As always, I invite you to join us in praying and preparing for the months ahead.

Gratefully,

Jeanne Korman

We celebrated Easter.

We are grateful for the vision God gave us for Ruth’s House and the community that has already surrounded us with support. This Easter, we prayed that the women and children we hope to serve at Ruth’s House will experience abundant life. Read more about our vision for abundant life at Ruth’s House on our blog.

We committed to fighting inequality.

On April 7, we observed World Health Day because we believe everyone deserves to live a healthy life, no matter their background. We recognize the inequalities in our world and community that make a healthy life easier for some, and we remain committed to providing a stable, safe environment at Ruth’s House that actively works toward a more just future.

We grew our networks.

We are so grateful for each of you who joined our family of supporters this past month. Our donors and volunteers support us through prayer, financial gifts, volunteering their time, and spreading the word about Ruth’s house, including through social media.
