18th Annual Greenway 5K Charity Run
Ruth’s House is teaming up with the Knights of Columbus Bernardo Council #1350 for this year’s Greenway 5K Charity Run, and we’d love for you to be part of it! This isn’t just a race—it’s a chance to come together as a community and support local charities, including Ruth’s House, which provides a safe and empowering home for young single moms.

Location: Naugatuck River Derby Greenway
Start Line: Derby Municipal Parking Lot (across from Home Depot, Derby, CT)
Directions: Take Rt. 8 Exit #15, turn onto Rt. #34W toward downtown Derby, then left at the first light toward Rubino Scrap Metal.
What to Expect
Free event t-shirts for all pre-registered runners and walkers
Awards for top male and female finishers, plus age group winners
A beautiful, flat course along the river—great for all levels
A welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere—walkers encouraged!

Paint and Sip
Sign up now to paint your own fall-themed charcuterie board! No painting experience is necessary, and all materials needed to create your charcuterie board are included. You'll also have the chance to win a facial at Swept Away Spa (valued at $120)!
Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages–plastic cups will be provided. Your participation and registration fee will support young single moms and their children in our community.
